Turkey’s Mediterranean shore, known as the Turquoise Coast, is nearly 1600 km (994 miles) long. Featuring towering cliffs, rugged coastlines, long sandy shores and so many unspoiled beaches, this area was once the centre of classical civilisations and over time their ancient cities have transformed into picturesque ruins.
If you don’t want to chill out by one of our pools, Sea Breeze is ideally located to explore this beautiful part of the world; set on the forested mountain slopes of Babadağ, yet close enough to the buzzing holiday resorts of Hisarönü and Ölüdeniz. It makes an excellent base from which to explore this amazing region of Turkey.
In the same day our guests can swim in tranquil waters at the much-photographed Belcekız Beach and Blue Lagoon, walk in the mountains, visit historic sites, paraglide and visit a bar or restaurant in the evening.

Hisaronu and Ovacik are adjoining villages high in the hills behind Oludeniz and surrounded by pine forests and beautiful countryside.
Hisaronu is the busier of the two villages with restaurants, shops and bars centred around a main street. Here you will also find a weekly market offering a variety of souvenirs & gifts.
Ovacik is altogether quieter and more rural with splendid views of the surrounding pine forests & mountains. The air here is usually cooler and fresher than at sea level, providing welcome sea breezes during the height of summer.
Both are only 5 minutes by road from Oludeniz.
Situated in a sheltered bay with a backdrop of mountains and forests, Fethiye is a bustling port and market town, where Turkish life and tourism coexist. From a cafe along the waterfront you can watch the traditional wooden gulets, motor launches, yachts and fishing boats.
Explore the ancient rock tombs, shop in the narrow lanes of Paspatur (Old Town), or enjoy vibrant restaurant and nightlife. Renowned for its traditional music and dancing as much as its clubs and discos, there are many venues to while away the balmy summer evenings.
Visit the weekly markets or gently stroll along the marina, enjoying its authentic charm. Fethiye is also the starting point of the Lycian Way, a 500-km track through the rugged mountains of the Tekke Peninsula to Antalya.
Fethiye is 15 minutes away from Sea Breeze by dolmuş (local bus) and services run every 10 minutes during the summer. (Ask at our Information Office for information about mini buses etc.)
A 10-minute drive from the buzz of Hisaronu brings you to the very different yet magnificent village of Kaya, where Anatolian Christians once lived. Originally called Livissi, its population was part of the 1923 exchange with Greece. Since then it has been deserted: the ruins include two churches, chapels, 500 houses, hospital, schools and a library. The village is a short dolmuş (bus) ride from Hisaronu and is fascinating to explore on foot
One hour south of Fethiye is Kalkan, a picturesque hillside town that overlooks a sheltered bay and marina. A maze of narrow, cobbled streets – lined with old Anatolian houses, craft shops, boutiques & terrace restaurants – rise from the harbour to the town’s centre, where there are stunning views across the bay and mountains beyond.
Located about 30 minutes drive southeast of Kalkan, Kas is a small and equally charming coastal resort where many sailing boats anchor in its small marina. It offers easy access to secluded beaches only a few minutes away by public bus on the magnificent winding coast road.
One of the most beautiful beaches in the entire Mediterranean, Oludeniz offers crystal clear waters and is sheltered by soaring coastal mountains. During the day you may choose to relax on the sand or enjoy one of a range of water sports.
Also known as Paradise Beach – is located only 2 km away from Ölüdeniz and can be reached easily by foot or dolmuş. It is more secluded and quieter than Ölüdeniz, but does not offer cafes and water sport facilities. Shaded picnic tables plus sun lounges & umbrellas are available. This beach is a protected area and visitors have to pay a small entrance fee.
Is an unspoiled, picturesque cove with a great view of St. Nicholas Island [you can take a boat across to see the ruins]. There are several simple restaurants. It’s a perfect day trip from Ölüdeniz; swim, snorkel, eat and snooze.
Has been rated as the best beach in the world by The Sunday Times. Stretching 14 km, it is the longest beach on the Mediterranean. Its pristine sandy shores back on to ancient ruins, separated by towering dunes; sun lounges & umbrellas are available and a small cafe offers refreshments. Located close to the port towns of Kalkan and Kaş, Patara is accessible by dolmuş during summer. This is a protected area and visitors have to pay an entrance fee.
Is a national conservation area and one of the last breeding places in Europe for the protected loggerhead ‘Caretta Caretta’ sea turtle. It’s several kilometres long, with very scenic surroundings, soft sand, and shallow water. Accessible mainly by an enjoyable 20 min public boat ride from pleasant, relaxed Dalyan town. Day trips operate from the Fethiye area. This is a protected area and visitors have to pay an entrance fee.
